According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a boutonnière is a floral decoration worn by men, typically a single flower or bud. The word comes from the French word for buttonhole, which is the British term for a boutonnière.
We made today’s boutonniere (number 37) out of small dried flowers called gomphrena. These flowers are available in different colors but I love how this small bundle is in shades of pink. We paired them with looped grass and accented with twine.
